Annalisa Barrett

Ms. Barrett is Vice President and Senior Research Associate with The Corporate Library, the leading independent provider of corporate governance research, where she oversees the firm’s research related to board and governance practices.  She is also an adjunct lecturer in the Finance Department at the University of San Diego Business School.  Previously, Ms. Barrett was a Research Consultant at Towers Perrin where she focused on research related to corporate governance, compensation programs for outside directors and incentive plans for executives. Ms. Barrett is a member of the Board of Directors of the Corporate Directors Forum and, in 2008, Ms. Barrett was named one of the first “Rising Stars of Corporate Governance” by the Millstein Center for Corporate Governance and Performance at the Yale School of Management.  Ms. Barrett has an MBA with distinction from the Ross School at the University of Michigan.

Jason Howerton

Mr. Howerton is President and CEO of ARS National Services, Inc., a leading privately-held collections company. Under his direction, ARS has grown from a small local business with 50 employees to a national organization with over 650 employees. Since 1998, ARS has achieved a compounded annual growth rate of 38% and Mr. Howerton has acquired or opened new call centers in Ontario, CA, Baltimore, MD and Jacksonville, FL as well as expanded the existing San Diego, CA and Phoenix, AZ locations. Prior to joining ARS, Mr. Howerton worked in the Capital Markets Group at Barclay’s Global Investors. Mr. Howerton holds a BSc in Finance from Santa Clara University. In 2004 Mr. Howerton was recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist and is currently an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

Julie Meyer

Ms. Meyer has over sixteen years of experience providing financial advisory services, including due diligence, forensic accounting, investment banking and investment management.  She is currently a Principal with Corporate Diligence Specialists LLC, an advisory firm that provides financial and accounting due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions for private equity funds, private investors and corporate clients.  Prior to Corporate Diligence Specialists, Ms. Meyer was an Associate with Harris Williams & Co, an Executive Consultant with Peterson Consulting (now Navigant) and a Client Service Analyst with Wellington Management Company.  Ms. Meyer holds a B.S. in Commerce (concentration in Accounting) from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.

Joel Milne

Mr. Milne currently serves as the Managing Partner of Mt. Auburn Partners, an investment firm specialized in the acquisition and management of commercial or consumer service companies, and was formerly the CEO of Ivize, a national legal document services company. Previously, Mr. Milne founded Season Ticket Networks, which he led to become the leader in season ticketing software, with over 50 professional sports teams as customers, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Bulls, Colorado Avalanche, Texas Rangers, and many more. Prior to starting STN, Mr. Milne served as President of nCode Technologies, an international IT consulting firm, where he was responsible for all consulting and sales operations. Additionally, Mr. Milne served as a Deputy Director for Governor Mitt Romney’s 2002 election campaign and has worked as a project engineer for one of the world’s largest copper mining companies. Mr. Milne received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Engineering from Queen’s University.

Andy Rourke

Mr. Rourke is a Managing Director of Blake Street Group, an executive assessment, organizational design, and professional development services company catering to private equity firms and their portfolio companies as well as Fortune 500 companies. Before joining Blake Street Group, Mr. Rourke was an investment professional at Centennial Ventures, a Denver-based venture capital firm focused on investments in communications and media companies. There Mr. Rourke sourced investment opportunities, conducted due diligence, and worked closely with executives and entrepreneurs. Prior to Centennial, Mr. Rourke spent three years at The Carlyle Group sourcing and structuring investments and working with teams in various market sectors to build their companies. Mr. Rourke started his career as an Analyst at Robertson Stephens, a San Francisco-based investment bank. Mr. Rourke holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
